After the Cubs series, Annie, Courtney & Skura stayed in CO to camp.
We had sweet plans for a beautiful, long hike to a waterfall, but instead got sidetracked on an impromptu mountain wine tasting tour. Oops.
We did make it up Trail Ridge Road where Annie & Court caught the Bubonic Plaque AHHH!
Had lunch at the bottom of this waterfall...
3 bottles of wine+vodka+case o'Bud = Skura hovered over everyone on the rock, transformed into a bear.
Whit's trained eye spotted a mama & baby MOOSE - FINALLY!!!!!! She looks like Rocco.
Rented a pontoon on Lake Granby for some fun in the sun.
This is after Skura's 29 attempts to pee off the side of the boat.
Whitney didn't attempt, she was brave & jumped into the water - then froze! (Chicagoans: we've learned the hard way that water in lakes out here is from glacial runoff...)
